“Why do I take pictures? It has to do with crafting metal ... I run a precision engineering and design business and frankly, I love the creative work involved in a new project and engaging with my clients on the things we’re making together. One day I picked up a friend’s high-end SLR camera and, after completely failing to take a reasonable shot with it, realised that taking great photographs requires some serious technical smarts, imagination, a sense of humour and a genuine interest in your client’s interests - not unlike engineering, and what a creative challenge! I’ve simply been hooked ever since.”
Today, whether he's in the shop or out on long walks with his wife Vikki and their sheepdog Rocky, Jacek is excited by the challenge of turning a new idea into reality in perfect detail, with emotion and flare.
Vikki is a long time visual artist, sculptor and potter, and ever since the love of photography pervaded the household she's been adding her keen design sense and special touch to the mix. Vikki also handles the business end of the business, and ensures that every shoot runs smoothly and in good spirit.

Because of our mixed professional backgrounds and interests we get to work with many people desiring photographic services beyond traditional portrait and event photos, so instead of creating set packages and prices we prefer to have superb coffee and a good chat with you and learn about your needs.
